Good to seeya Patai and Titaan and Mr Bouldershoulder! Gonna start playing casually again and see what happens. Look forward to seeing yah ingame again. Prolly be on Chasee untill SOE gives me my ranger back! Hi to anyone else that remembers this ghost from the past.

Ok. I'm gonna have a tantrum with Vista....

Finally loading. Estimated time... xmas 2012. Gonna go swim in patai's pool while I wait. i would borrow Titaan's speedo but it's to small.

Hope to be in soon. No news on my ranger. So lemme see if I remember how to quad kite as a wizard!

Vista is having issues with d3dx9_30.dll

There a common cure for this? Must come back to Norrath!

right-click your EQ shortcut and choose "run as administrator" then click the allow button when it asks are you sure you trust this program.

I know it sucks, Titaan has to do that with his new machine...really hoping I don't have to "upgrade" to Vista anytime soon lol.

Yeah. That is the path i have been using. Once it finished updating and goes to play it pops up a d3dx9_30.dll error.

SOE sent me link to reset my ranger pw though. :)

hello, id just copy that file name and google it and redownload that file and put in the eq folder. happened to me before.

Don't you have to install directX9 c? or which ever was the last version even if you're using X10?

The error message looks like a missing X9 component.
