Guess whos back!!!!!!!! WOOOT... I should be back after not playing for almost 3 years this coming week, cant wait to see everything new and old again. Hellz YES!

Ok, so I installed EQ, I have CD's through POP, but the stupid patching program wont run, says I need to try and run everquest.exe Any ideas?

I'm in Phx and IMO COX is the only way to go. It's reliable and you can get it jacked up to great speeds.

I'm having difficulty logging into the game now. It says that I can't establish a connection. I know I have internet, but it seems to think otherwise. I checked the network status on the web site and it says everything is fine. Gimmie some ideas. I'm running Vista, so I dont know a whole lot as of yet

right click on eqgame.exe and go to properties. go to compatibility tab, then make it think it's using xp/2000. then every time you run EQ, right click the icon and run as administrator.

still no change, I get to the log in screen and it gives me the server down. Ive turned the firewall off, shut off AVG what the hell gives. I hate vista....
