Diligence's DKP Policy (revised: 6/16/07) (submitted by Daine at 01:34pm EDT)

1) Raid point accumulation( DKP):

a) Each person(recruit or main) who attends a raid, whether physically in the raid, or on the waitlist, will recieve points which can be used to acquire or purchase rewards/loot.
b) Attendance for each raid will be done hourly, beginning 10 minutes after the announced time, or when the GL or RL declares the raid, if after the announced or posted time.
c) No person will recieve DKP in a non-full raid who is not in the gathering or announced zone at the time the attendance is documented, unless officers or GL has specifically set them to do a guild related task or function.
d) Attendance of a partial hour, only as the terminal hour of the raid, will be rounded off to the nearest 15 minute increment and added in as a fraction of the allotted DKP amount per event. The officers/GL have in their sole discretion the authority to announce that a final partial hour will recieve a full hour of DKP for that event. This will be restricted to events that are new/difficult or progressive and subject again to officer discretion.
e) If/when zone or target changes occur during an one hour raid increment, it is the officers sole discretion to determine which Event ( and therefore the amount of DKP per event) will be allotted.
f) It is the sole responsibility of the member or recruit to notify the DKP officer if they believe they were missed on an attendance check as a consequence of LD or Death. If this is not done immediately, then some form of logs, or documentation, or verfication by other members of the guild who attended the raid will be required, and forwarded to the DKP officer for review and abjudication.
g) All attendance logs will be entered within 48 hours( barring sickness/unavoidable circumstances) and available for review by individual members.

2) Event Valuation:

a) Each hourly raid will be assigned a value or DKP amount.
b) The Base Value of each Event will be calculated, or determined, based on an arbitrary, but historical, 'average time to loot', which represents the current FC/AG 2 Raid standard DKP of 0.5 DKP.
c) Base Value Event DKP of any other event will be determined as a direct proportionate ratio of the hp/mana( hp/endurance or hp X 2) of the average loot value available in FC/AG 2 Raids.( Example: Average hp/mana is 912 for AG/FC 2; Average FC/AG 1 is 870. 870/912=X/0.5= .48
d) The Base Value of Each Event will be modified by a 'difficulty' factor( hereafter called Event Modifier) to determine the Final Event Valuation.
i) The Event Modifier shall never exceed or degrade by more than 5%, unless on consensus of the officers and guildleader, guildleader decree, or within their sole discretion, consultation with the Guild.( Example: Following logic in above case, FC1 can be +/- 0.02 DKP.)
ii) Although the officers/GL have the sole right to of apply or ignore any Event Modifier, it is their responsibility to insure that this factor is fairly and evenly applied, if at all, to the benefit of the guild as a whole. Moreover, this cannot be arbritralily applied to disparate raids.
e) The Final Event Valuation for each raid will be entered into the Database and added to each attendee's DKP, once per hour as detalied in 1), above.
f) It is the responsibility of the DKP officer to inform the guild of the the Final Event Valuation, or any changes, thereof.
g) The Guildleader, and if desired, with consent of the officers, may declare certain key 1st time Diligence or server events or victories as 'double' or 'bonus' Final Event Valuations for all/part of a Raid.

3) Loot/Reward Valuation:

a) Each loot/reward will be assigned a permanent/fixed value
b) Loot value will be determined as follows
i) The base loot value is 20 DKP, and represents an item with 1000 combined mana/hp or hp/endurance(or hp X 2) and at least one 'clickie effect' or focus effect(including haste effect).
ii) Each item's value will either be increased or decreased based on its proportionate number of combined hp/mana//mana/endurance, in direct relationship to the base loot value of 20.
c) Special reductions/increases and exceptions
i) All augmentations will be increased 150% of their base value, plus 5% for any secondary modifiers, AC or weapon DMG.
ii) Any item without a 'clickie' or focus effect(or one that is unusable by the class who looted) will be have its value decreased by 5%.
iii) Any melee only weapon or shield will have its its value decreased by 25%.
iv) Any single class only item will have its value decreased by 10%.
v) Damage only weapon augs Valuation are yet to be determined.
d) TBS loot/rewards
i) Base value of all TBS loot will be calculated in the normal manner.
ii) A 1-10% modifier will be added to each armor piece, or any gear that is subject to modification by Energian Orbs( TBD and announced)
iii) Phospites will be distributed to each member recieving an armor piece as they become available, using the following priority
1st to recieve, DKP. Additional Phospites will be distributed in this general fashion, using the same priority, on a first come/first serve basis.
iv) It is the intention of Diligence to allow members to loot TBS armor, in the form of 'crystals', divided by 2 and ONLY for a specified set of armor, or armor piece. Any deviation by any member, after agreeing to purchase a given item( such as hoarding or purchasing an alternative piece of armor) in exchange for the crystals and the requisite DKP subtraction, will be subject to penalty and possible guild expulsion, at the sole discretion of the GL.
e) All loot value modifications are subject to change at the sole discretion of the officer/GL or in conjunction with guild consultation, if desired.

4) Loot priority:

a) Declared Loot will be allotted in the following priority
i) Highest DKP
ii) Highest Attendance, 30/60/90.
iii) Last Major Item loot ( not augmentation)
iv) Largest Upgrade
v) Class Utility
b) Member Class Priority
i) Full Members with >35% 30 day attendance and >40% 60 day attendance.( this MAY be subject to change), and >/=neg 40 DKP
ii) Full Members with </=35% 30 day, and <40% 60 day attendance, and >/=negative 40 DKP.( Inactive Members)
iii) Any Full Member when ROT loot is declared( see below), who has >/=neg 40 DKP
iv)) Recruits and Full members with <negative 40 DKP
vi) Persistent Alternates
vii) Non-Persistent Alternates.
c) In ALL cases, with the exception of being below negative 40 DKP, negativity alone will have NO effect on loot priority.
d) Scrolls/Spells will be distributed using the Loot priority, but subject to officer discretion related directly to guild need/requirement, but generally have no DKP cost/value.
e) Backflags/Quest Items will utilize the loot priority, but generally have no DKP associate cost/value.

5) ROT Loot Policy/Alternate/Recruit/Inactive:

a) ROT loot will be declared if after officer declaration, no full member in either category a) or b) above, demonstrates confidential interest, in the item, at the fixed DKP cost.
b) A subsequent declaration will be made that said item is being offered at 1/2 DKP value. Any member with >/=neg 40 DKP can then tell confidential interest to the declaring officer.
c) All interested members will be announced publicly and a random die roll will determine the person who has loot rights.
d) 1/2 the Fixed Loot/Reward DKP will then be subtracted from the acquiring member.
e) If no full member demonstrates interest during the ROT loot phase, the loot priority( 4, above) will be followed, allowing Recruits and Full Members( whether inactive or not) with <neg 40 DKP to acquire the reward; then Alternates.
f) By direct inference then, any loot acquired by a recruit/alternate/or full member with <neg40 DKP will be ONE-HALF DKP value, or at the ROT level, if you prefer.
g) The DKP value of any loot acquired by a an alternate character will be charged to the owning full member or, in rare cases, recruits.
h) All recruits will recieve DKP in the manner acquired by full members and set forth in 1) above. Upon elevation to full member status, recruits will NOT recieve any modification.( On 6/15/2007 ALL recruits with negative DKP were set to ZERO.)
i) Class specific loot is not subject to ROT loot policy.

6) DKP Penalties

a) Any member who is continously or congruently absent greater than 21 consecutive days will be assessed a DKP penalty of 1% DKP per day beyond the grace period.
b) Raid penalties, if/when applied, are at the sole discretion of the officers or GL. While they will generally not exceed the loss of one attendance check, harsher DKP loss will be applied in extreme situations.
i) Persistent AFK
ii) Repetitive ignoring officer/GL/raid leader instructions.
iii) Triggering a 'wipe' of the raid because of failure to follow instructions.
iv) Miscellaneous
